About
Nadia is a designer / researcher who places people at the centre of the creative process. Her work aims to re-evaluate the interactions between people, products, spaces and services. Nadia works well with different people and tries to see things from their perspective to understand their needs and realise where design can make a difference. Inquisitive by nature she believes that the little details that often go unnoticed have the potential to form big revelations. As a result, Nadia observes, questions and analyses situations to get to the essence of a topic and then translates these insights into design ideas that people can relate to.
Born in Scotland, Nadia trained initially at the Glasgow School of Art where she developed a user-centred approach to design and was awarded a BDes Hons in Product Design in 2004. After working for a variety of studios in London, Nadia returned to study for her masters. In 2008 she graduated with an MDes in Conceptual Design in Context from the Design Academy Eindhoven, in the Netherlands, under the direction of Droog co-founder Gijs Bakker. Currently Nadia lives and works in London.
